- OVIPEL 4 pellet is a complementary pellet for nursing ewes from the age of 6 weeks and also for ewes during lactation.
- The increased protein content helps to ensure milk yield is optimally stimulated in nursing ewes. This means that lambs receive all the essential nutrients they need for a balanced growth.
- Most sheep are sensitive to copper; the accumulation of copper can even result in death. For that reason our OVI-sheep feeds are copper-free.

Directions for use
• Period: During the entire lactation period.
• A lactating ewe can be fed 500 g of OVIPEL 4 pellet per nursing lamb, to guarantee good milk production.
• Maximum milk production is achieved with good quality roughage and a daily supplement of approximately 1 kg of OVIPEL 4 pellet. If the roughage is of slightly poorer quality, more OVIPEL 4 pellet should be given.
• With lambing of more than two lambs, it is recommended to raise the additional lambs at the lamb bar with OVIMILK 1, especially with ewes with less-rich milk or if the lambs are rather unequal in weight.
• The daily diet should not contain more than 60% concentrated feeds.
• The simultaneous use of different organic acids or their salts is contraindicated where one or more of them is used at or near the maximum permitted content.
• Copper levels higher than 10 mg per kg of total daily ration can be very harmful to the health of certain breeds of sheep. Respect the instructions for use.
Tips
• Sheep are very sensitive to copper poisoning. Therefore, only give specific sheep feeds from the OVI range.
• Always make fresh water and roughage (such as grass, hay...) freely available.
